About Monica Walsh (Harley), Founder

Hi there!  I'm Monica.  I am an Administrative Consultant, Real Estate Salesperson, Heart Smarts Ambassador, and Blogger.  I live in New York City and work 9-5 for a Property Management Company.

Before the economy crashed in 2008, I was an administrative assistant, after the crash, I found myself unemployed. I decided to start my own administrative consulting business; working for small business owners and entrepreneurs, providing them with administrative services as needed.  One of the companies sent me to New York-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center as their representative to be trained as a Heart Smarts Ambassador, providing cardiac awareness to faith-based organizations and communities to enable them to make better lifestyle and healthcare choices.

As a Nyack College graduate, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management and working on my Master's degree thesis, I realized that relying on one stream of income was not the answer so I decided to go back to school to get my Real Estate License.

So much has changed in my life since 2008.  Having a health crisis and spending 12 days in the hospital inspired me to create a blog that focuses on self-empowerment and ways to create more balance in life.

What I am Doing?

My aim is to become my greatest self and provide information to help other people become their greatest selves through self-empowerment. I do this by sharing my own story and experiences, of how my "Wheel of Life" was out of balance in several areas of my life. It is my belief that anyone can transform their personal, professional, spiritual and financial life if they choose to. Perfection is not the goal, rather acknowledging your flaws and working to improve them.

If this sounds like the motivation you have been seeking, sign up for my free weekly newsletter and I will email you the latest from my blog.
